CILICIA. Alexandria ad Issum. Pseudo-autonomous issue. Hemiassarion (Orichalcum, 16 mm, 3.12 g, 1 h), time of Hadrian (?), 117-138. ΑΛЄΞΑΝΔΡЄωΝ Laureate and draped bust of Poseidon to right. Rev. KAT ICCON Dolphin to right; behind, trident. RPC III 3401 = SNG Levante Suppl. 432 (same dies). SNG Paris -. SNG von Aulock -. Extremely rare, apparently the second known example. Very fine.
